Its most successful to date, ELLE UK’s third annual feminism campaign— part of an ongoing initiative to engage future generations to participate in the debate around equality and provoke positive change in society— takes aim at gender bias and inequality, particularly at ‘the top’. Through an integrated activist campaign across digital, social and print channels, our #morewomen message is clear: one woman’s success makes every woman stronger.

“We live in extraordinary times, and you need to have a view on women and equality at this point in history.”

— Lorraine Candy, Editor-in-Chief

Partnering with Anomaly’s Executive Creative Director Alex Holder and photographer/director Alyssa Boni (RSA), the #MOREWOMEN campaign film shows images of women in the most senior positions of business, media and politics with their male colleagues removed, revealing how few women there really are at the top. The confronting picture generated substantial press, and was awarded a creativity for good White Pencil from D&AD.
