In collaboration with the internal creative team, we revisited and defined the fundamental elements that underpin VanMoof’s design language. Inspired by wayfinding systems found in public spaces, direct application of type, and bold use of primary colours, a purposeful system emerges; one that is efficient, accessible and intentional. Through thoughtful simplicity, playing with a modernist neutral typeface as a pure medium, elements live in harmony. Always welcoming, never too serious; this foundation enables designers to be consistent, creative— and totally VanMoof.
